Athletics at ACHS

AC is a school marked by distinguished competitive spirit and renowned sporting tradition. Each year athletes compete in over 15 sports, developing basic skills and team philosophy. Participation in varying levels of play from clubs to varsity is strongly encouraged and coaches strive to allow as many students as possible to partake in the sport of their choice.

Physicals
Any student who intends to play interscholastic athletics must pass a physical prior to tryouts. Athletes must have a physical exam dated after March 2008 in order to be eligible for the 2008-2009 school year (this includes freshmen through seniors). All students must bring a copy of his/her physical to the first day of practice/tryouts. Please do not mail physicals to the school during the summer months.

Fees
All Athletic fees are due prior to the distribution of uniforms once teams are selected.
Fees are as follows:Hockey and Football-$225 All other sports-$100 The third sport is free. Checks for fees should be made payable to Arlington Catholic. Coaches will let the players know when fees are due. Please do not mail fees to the school during the summer.

Insurance
Although not a requirement, all student athletes are encouraged to purchase the school sponsored insurance. This should take place the first week of school.
