Girls' Hockey Team Honored
The Girls' Ice Hockey team at Arlington Catholic was recently honored with the James F. Mulloy Girls' Ice Hockey Team Sportsmanship Award. The award is given out each year by the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association and the Massachusetts State Ice Hockey Coaches' Association. The award is presented annually to a high school program that exemplifies the sportsmanship qualities of the late James F. Mulloy. Mr. Mulloy was a former head high school hockey coach, chairman of the MIAA and past president of the MSCHA. One of his great desires was to see high school hockey played in a fair and equitable manner with sportsmanship the goal that all players and coaches keep foremost in their minds. This is a great honor for the AC team. Join us in congratulating them!
